Cincinnati Bell Fioptics TV Powers Fountain Square Video Board

Company Provides Television Content and Internet at Downtown Gathering Spot

CINCINNATI, Apr 23, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) and Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) have entered into an agreement naming Cincinnati Bell as the exclusive provider of digital television programming and high-speed Internet connectivity for Fountain Square. Cincinnati Bell is able to provide these services via its new FiopticsSM product line.

Cincinnati Bell now offers digital television and faster Internet services to a growing number of customers in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. These services, known as Fioptics TV and Fioptics Internet, are being delivered via a state-of-the-art fiber-optic network that Cincinnati Bell is installing in homes and businesses throughout the region. Currently, Fioptics is available to approximately 50,000 area households.

Installed in 2006 as part of the Fountain Square renovations, the giant video board serves as an important backdrop for activities and events on the Square. A variety of content is broadcast on a daily basis, including local and national newscasts, sporting events, and other programming of interest to people visiting the Square.
