Cincinnati Bell Launches Unique, Innovative Products in Fusion WiFi and Unlimited Everything Family Pak

New Ads Demonstrate Value of New Products; Fusion WiFi Ads Feature Nick Lachey
CINCINNATI, Jul 09, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) recently launched Fusion WiFi and the Unlimited Everything Family Pak, two product offerings that differentiate the company from its competition and make it easier and more affordable for customers to stay connected. The product launches are supported by new print, television, radio, cinema, and online advertising in the Cincinnati and Dayton markets.

"Both Fusion WiFi and the Unlimited Everything Family Pak offer superior value for Cincinnati Bell customers," said Lisa Sammons, director of advertising for Cincinnati Bell. "For example, the Unlimited Everything Family Pak offers unlimited wireless voice, text and data in a shared rate plan for just $65 per person with a two-person minimum when bundled with home phone and ZoomTown high-speed Internet service. Additional wireless users can be added for $30 per month."

Unlimited Everything Family Pak

Cincinnati Bell's new Unlimited Everything Family Pak can satisfy a family's biggest talkers, fastest texters, and most intense Web surfers at a value unlike anything currently available in the market. The new Unlimited Everything Family Pak is available when customers bundle their family's wireless service with home phone and ZoomTown high-speed Internet from Cincinnati Bell.

Fusion WiFi

Fusion WiFi from Cincinnati Bell combines wireless and WiFi technology to give customers the speed and great reception they need to stay connected. Cincinnati Bell was the first carrier to launch converged wireless and WiFi service in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton markets in June 2007. Fusion WiFi is an evolution of the original service and offers outstanding in-building reception and download speeds unparalleled by other wireless carriers in Cincinnati and Dayton.

With Fusion WiFi customers receive unlimited WiFi minutes for as little as $10 per month when bundled with other Cincinnati Bell products and services. The service is currently available with the Nokia 6086 and the BlackBerry Pearl handsets.

New Advertising Campaign

According to Matt Fischer, chief creative officer at WonderGroup, the new ads are designed to be relevant for each product's target audience. "Cincinnati Bell's in-depth market research uncovered the changes and trends in customer segmentation and purchasing behavior. As a result, we incorporated the 'voice of the customer' into the creation of the new campaign," Fischer explained.

Fusion WiFi advertising features hometown personality and singer Nick Lachey being chased around downtown Cincinnati by adoring fans. Advertising for the Unlimited Everything Family Pak takes a different approach as a teenager uses a family powwow to share his need for a better communications plan.
